Reliance's Big Bet: Over Rs 600 Crore for West Bengal's New Food Park

Reliance Consumer Products is investing upwards of Rs 600 crore to build its first integrated food and beverage park in West Bengal. Located on a 30-acre plot in Haringhata (Nadia district), the facility marks the Group's initial FMCG venture in the state and its first owned food park in eastern India, supporting major brands like Campa. Meanwhile, Haldia Petrochemicals is set to inaugurate its new phenol and acetone plant in Haldia on October 14. Together, these projects are expected to enhance regional manufacturing, generate employment, and strengthen local infrastructure.
