Aavin Expansion Alert: Bids Invited for 10 LLPD Facility

The Tamil Nadu Co-operative Milk Producers' Federation has invited bids for additional civil works for the construction of a new 10 lakh litres per day (LLPD) dairy plant at Madhavaram, Chennai.

The scope includes supporting civil infrastructure to complement the main plant, ensuring compliance with operational, safety, and regulatory standards. The project is expected to be completed within 11 months.

Once operational, the facility is anticipated to enhance supply chain efficiency for both milk producers and consumers by enabling faster processing and distribution. The initiative aligns with the federation’s focus on modernising dairy operations, expanding capacity, and promoting sustainable growth in the sector.

The last date for bid submission is 21 April 2026.
