In a major boost to its domestic supply chain, PepsiCo India has inaugurated a state-of-the-art, ₹1,266 crore flavour manufacturing facility in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Representing one of the company's largest manufacturing investments in India to date, the plant will produce beverage concentrates for PepsiCo’s iconic portfolio. This milestone aligns with the company’s broader blueprint to invest ₹5,700 crore in India by 2030. Driven by advanced technology and eco-friendly processes, the facility optimizes operational efficiency to meet soaring consumer demand. Furthermore, PepsiCo is deepening its local roots by expanding its collaborative farming initiative in the region, empowering over 2,000 farmers in the sustainable cultivation of chip-grade potatoes. This landmark facility underscores PepsiCo’s dedication to local manufacturing, regional economic growth, and the evolution of India's food and beverage sector.
