Haveri Gets Moo-ving: KMF Announces ₹95 Crore Dairy Unit Project in Karnataka

The Karnataka Co-operative Milk Producers Federation Limited is gearing up for a substantial endeavor with its Dairy Unit Project in Katihalli, Haveri, Karnataka. With an investment of 95 crores INR, this project aims to establish a state-of-the-art dairy facility capable of processing 10 lakh liters of milk per day, significantly contributing to the dairy sector's growth in the region.

In addition to the dairy processing unit, the project includes the setup of a powder plant with a capacity of 60 tons per day. This facility will focus on the production of dairy powders, catering to the diverse needs of consumers and industries requiring milk solids for various applications.

Katihalli, Haveri, Karnataka, was chosen as the project location due to its strategic positioning within the state's dairy belt and abundant availability of milk-producing resources. This choice reflects the Karnataka Co-operative Milk Producers Federation Limited's commitment to leveraging local strengths and supporting rural livelihoods.
