Advent International: Checking In to India's Luxury Hotel Boom

Mumbai-based hotel asset management firm Advent Hotels International is focusing on expanding its presence in India’s luxury and upper-upscale hotel markets.

The company collaborates with global brands such as Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt. Following the demerger of Valor Estate’s hotel business in April, Advent aims to unlock growth by separating hotel operations from real estate. Currently, Advent operates two hotels in Mumbai and Goa and has a robust pipeline of new projects, including Marriott Marquis and St. Regis in New Delhi, with plans to expand further across major metro markets.

Advent’s upcoming ventures, including a joint development in Delhi’s Aerocity, are poised to create India’s largest mixed-use hospitality project. The company continues to explore strategic partnerships, such as with Accor Hotels, while remaining open to acquisitions and global expansion opportunities.
