Itanagar Welcomes Lemon Tree: A New Chapter in Hospitality

Lemon Tree Hotels has announced the signing of a new property in Itanagar, marking the brand’s debut in Arunachal Pradesh. This move is in line with its strategic expansion into emerging tourist and business destinations across India.

The upcoming Lemon Tree Hotel, Itanagar will be managed by Carnation Hotels, the hotel management arm and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels. Conveniently located, the property will be approximately 25 km from Donyi Polo Airport and around 12 km from Naharlagun (Itanagar) Railway Station, offering excellent connectivity by air, rail, and road.

The hotel will feature 70 well-appointed rooms and a range of modern amenities including a restaurant, bar, banquet hall, meeting room, swimming pool, gym, spa, and other public areas, catering to both business and leisure travelers.

Itanagar, named after the historic Itafort—a 14th–15th century brick fort built by King Ramachandra of the Jitari Dynasty—offers rich cultural and heritage experiences. Guests can explore nearby attractions such as the Jawaharlal Nehru Museum, showcasing tribal heritage, and Gekar Sinyi (Ganga Lake), a serene natural spot popular for recreation and picnics.
