Lemon Tree Hotels recently finalized an agreement for a new establishment in Karnataka, demonstrating its commitment to broadening its presence in the state.
Scheduled to open in the fiscal year 2027, Lemon Tree Hotel in Kundapura, Karnataka, will boast 80 meticulously designed rooms, complemented by diverse amenities including restaurants, a swimming pool, fitness center, meeting room, and other communal spaces.
Operated by Carnation Hotels, the management subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels, this addition will augment the current portfolio of eight hotels and resorts the brand already operates within the state.
Strategically situated, the hotel is conveniently accessible, with Mangalore International Airport positioned 90 km away and the Udupi railway station just 38 km from the site. The town's unique geographical features, surrounded by rivers on two sides and the backwaters, coupled with the Arabian Sea on the third, contribute to a picturesque setting.
Beyond its scenic appeal, Kundapura holds historical significance and is renowned for its culinary delights. The brand's expansion aligns with the escalating trend in religious tourism activities, further solidifying its position in this particular market segment.
