MIDC Approves SAMHI's Navi Mumbai Hotel Expansion.

SAMHI Hotels has received formal approval from the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) for an extension of the development timeline on its Navi Mumbai hotel project.

With this approval, SAMHI is set to commence construction of a 700-room dual-branded property near the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport, featuring Westin and Fairfield by Marriott. The first phase will deliver 400 rooms, marking it as SAMHI’s largest hotel asset to date.

Strategically located to serve multiple demand segments—particularly those linked to the Navi Mumbai International Airport and DY Patil Stadium—the project underscores SAMHI’s commitment to strengthening its footprint in key gateway markets. Upon completion, the development will enhance the company’s portfolio with a marquee property that aligns with regional infrastructure growth and is designed for efficient scalability to its full 700-room capacity.
