Powai’s New Jewel: The K Raheja-IHG Partnership Begins

A pre-opening puja ceremony was held in Powai, Mumbai, for a landmark hospitality project jointly developed by the K Raheja Group and IHG Hotels & Resorts, in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Led by Vijayta Raheja and Nikhil K. Raheja, the development will feature a dual hotel complex designed to cater to both business and leisure travellers, while strengthening Mumbai’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) infrastructure. The project will include approximately 300 keys, 13 meeting rooms, four food and beverage outlets, and landscaped lawn spaces.

Scheduled for completion in 2026, the project is expected to enhance Mumbai’s appeal as a hub for tourism, corporate events, and large-scale conventions. Speaking at the ceremony, Vijayta Raheja highlighted Maharashtra’s strong investment climate and ongoing infrastructure development, while Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis emphasized the role of integrated hospitality projects in elevating Mumbai’s position as a leading destination for business and leisure.

This development reflects the continued growth of Mumbai’s hospitality sector, driven by strategic partnerships and world-class infrastructure.
