Yotel Takes Flight: Landing in India's Major Cities & Airports

London-based hotel group Yotel is poised to make its mark in India, with plans to expand its presence into key cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. Engaging in discussions with airport operators in these metropolitan hubs, Yotel aims to establish a footprint not only in city centers but also within airport precincts.

With three distinct brands under its umbrella—Yotel, YotelAir, and YotelPad—the group is likely to introduce its Yotel and YotelAir concepts to the Indian market. This strategic move underscores the burgeoning tourism industry in India, presenting a lucrative opportunity for Yotel to tap into.

Yotel's operational strategy revolves around an asset-light model, wherein it collaborates with partners to foster business growth. Central to its approach are hotels featuring a 24x7 lounge, chillout zones, and health and fitness centers. Moreover, Yotel endeavors to integrate with local communities by offering specialty eateries and other attractions.

From its modest beginnings with just four properties, Yotel has experienced exponential growth, now boasting a portfolio of 32 opened and signed hotels worldwide, encompassing over 7000 keys. This expansion into the Indian market aligns with Yotel's global trajectory, signaling its commitment to catering to the evolving needs of travelers worldwide.
