Forging Flow: Welspun and Perma-Pipe Forge Jordan Joint Venture

Welspun Corp and Perma-Pipe International Holdings have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Jordanian government and the developers of the National Water Carrier Project to establish a joint venture in Jordan. This strategic partnership aims to build a manufacturing and advanced coating facility focused on producing large-diameter steel pipes equipped with anti-corrosion solutions. The venture will supply critical infrastructure for major water, energy, and oil and gas initiatives across Jordan and adjacent regional markets by combining Welspun’s manufacturing expertise with Perma-Pipe’s coating and project execution capabilities. Currently, the stakeholders are finalizing the regulatory, commercial, technical, and financial prerequisites required to operationalize the platform.
