The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, has approved a series of major decisions aimed at strengthening the state’s industrial and logistics ecosystem.
A key approval was the creation of the Andhra Pradesh Logistics Infrastructure Corporation (APLINC) along with a dedicated Logistics Fund. The initiative is intended to position Andhra Pradesh as a major logistics hub by enabling systematic planning, development, and management of logistics infrastructure across the state. Information Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy said the move would accelerate industrial growth, attract substantial investments, and generate large-scale employment. The Cabinet also cleared the Andhra Pradesh Cluster Development Programme (AP-CDP), with an outlay of ₹200 crore, to boost the MSME sector through the establishment of 45 Common Facility Centres over the next five years.
The Cabinet further approved several land allotments for strategic projects, including aerospace ventures and green energy initiatives, based on recommendations of the State Investment Promotion Board. These include land for Ethereal Exploration Guild to develop end-to-end launch vehicles under the proposed Space Corridor, and for Pioneer Clean Amps to establish a flight training school and an MRO facility for Hansa-3 aircraft. In addition, large renewable energy projects received approval, notably Tata Power’s proposed 10 GW ingot and wafer manufacturing plant and Websol Renewable’s four GW solar cell project, both of which will be eligible for incentives.
