YEIDA's Vision 2041: A New Era of Development for Hathras

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has begun the process of appointing a consultant to develop the Master Plan 2041 for Hathras Urban Centre (Phase 2), aimed at transforming the region into a modern industrial and residential hub.

According to YEIDA CEO RK Singh, the plan will support large-scale manufacturing, agro-processing, logistics, and the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). It will serve as a strategic roadmap for guiding population growth, employment generation, infrastructure development, land use planning, and environmental sustainability through to the year 2041.

Covering an estimated 2,000–4,000 hectares across 66 villages in Sasni tehsil, the exact project area will be finalized in the initial planning stages. YEIDA has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP), with consultant bids due by October 6 and technical evaluations scheduled for October 8. The plan is expected to be completed within eight months, followed by government approvals.

The Master Plan aims to bridge infrastructure gaps, promote sustainable urbanisation, attract investment, create jobs, and establish Hathras as a key satellite town of Agra and a regional economic growth center.
