KUIDFC Seeks Bids for Sewer Network Projects in Karnataka

Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development & Financial Corporation (KUIDFC) has initiated the bidding process for the implementation of the Jala Shuddhi Mission (JSM) across various Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in Bengaluru Urban. This mission, funded under the NGT Fund, aims to revamp water management systems in the state.

Under the DBOT model, the project will focus on enhancing sewer networks and treatment facilities in Mysuru, Hootagalli, KR Nagara, and T Narasipura ULBs. Specifically, it includes the expansion and improvement of sewer networks in Mysuru City, as well as the conveyance and treatment of sewage from areas like Ainora, Madagalli, and Belavadi under Hootagalli Municipal Council.

The contract, valued at Rs 164.61 crore, encompasses the upgrade to Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) type Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) and the installation of missing and outfall sewer lines to bolster the Urban Gravity Drainage (UGD) System in KR Nagara Town.

Interested parties have until 24th July 2024 to submit their bids for this critical infrastructure development initiative aimed at improving urban water quality and sanitation services in Karnataka.
