Jathar Spinners Private Limited, a prominent cotton yarn manufacturer, is set to establish a new cotton yarn project in Gadhinglaj, Kolhapur, Maharashtra. With an estimated cost of 57 crores, the project aims to produce 10,000 kgs of cotton yarn per day, catering to the textile and apparel sectors.

Scheduled for completion by the end of 2024, this venture underscores Jathar Spinners' commitment to meeting India's surging demand for cotton yarn. The company's existing stature in the industry, coupled with its strategic presence in Maharashtra and Gujarat, positions it favorably to capitalize on this growth opportunity.

Funding for the project is secured through a combination of debt and equity, with the State Bank of India leading the debt financing efforts. The infusion of equity capital by Jathar Spinners' promoters further underscores their confidence in the project's success.

Located in an industrial zone in Gadhinglaj, Kolhapur, the plant will incorporate cutting-edge technology for cotton yarn production, including a captive power plant to ensure energy self-sufficiency. This initiative is expected to create employment opportunities for approximately 500 individuals, further bolstering the local economy.
