Odisha's Rise as a Textile Hub: A ₹1,971 Crore Investment by Indian Oil

Indian Oil Corporation is set to establish a cutting-edge Textile unit specializing in Polyester Continuous Polymerization and Allied Yarn at the Bhadrak Textile Park in Odisha. With impressive production capacities of 33,000 Tons per Annum for FDY, 100,000 Tons per Annum for PSF, and 167,000 Tons per Annum for DTY, this facility will be a significant addition to the region's industrial landscape.

Spanning across 59.62 acres, the project is expected to generate employment opportunities for around 2,000 individuals, contributing to economic growth and livelihood enhancement in the area. As a key anchor project, it will play a crucial role in supplying essential feedstock and raw materials to downstream technical textile industries within the textile park, fostering a robust industrial ecosystem.
