AGI Greenpac is set to invest Rs 700 crore in a new greenfield manufacturing plant in Madhya Pradesh, boosting its production capacity by 25%. This facility will complement the company's existing glass plants in Telangana, addressing the increasing demand for premium glass packaging solutions.
With an anticipated daily production capacity of 500 tonnes, the plant will primarily cater to industries such as alcoholic beverages, pharmaceuticals, and food. AGI Greenpac aims for the facility to be operational within the next 24 months, creating over 1,000 direct and indirect jobs in the process.
CMD Sandip Somany commented, “This new plant will enable us to meet the growing demand for customized glass packaging solutions, offering enhanced quality products to our customers and strengthening our position in the Indian container glass market.”
As one of India's largest manufacturers of container glass, AGI Greenpac’s diverse portfolio includes PET bottles, associated products, and anti-counterfeiting security closures. The company operates seven plants across India.
