Daifuku Intralogistics India, a subsidiary of Japan-based Daifuku Co., a global leader in intralogistics and material handling automation, has inaugurated its new ₹2.27-billion manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, Telangana.
This significant investment underscores Daifuku’s commitment to the Make in India initiative, championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aimed at boosting domestic manufacturing, generating employment, and supporting economic growth. The facility marks a strategic milestone in Daifuku’s expansion in India, and is built to cater to the rising demand for automation across sectors such as e-commerce, retail, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and FMCG.
