Gharda Chemicals intend to develop Pesticide Production in Maharashtra

Gharda Chemicals Limited is intending to develop a brand new pesticides manufacturing unit project in the District of Ratnagiri in the state of Maharashtra. This project will be located in the state. As a part of this program, a variety of various kinds of pesticides, including herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides, are going to be manufactured. The kind of project being worked on is a Manufacturing Facility for Pesticides.

The annual production potential of the project is 4,36,070 metric tons.

The whole expenditure for the project came to 419 crores.

As on November 2023, The project is now in the stage of receiving approvals. The project has received all necessary clearances. By the end of the year 2023, development on the project will have begun.
