Havells India Limited has announced a further expansion of its cable manufacturing capacity at the Alwar facility, driven by rising demand and a focus on boosting operational efficiency. The company will invest an additional ₹340 crore to increase the plant’s annual cable production by 0.25 lakh km, raising the total capacity to 41.45 lakh km.
This new investment builds on a previously announced ₹375 crore expansion plan, which aimed to increase capacity from 32.9 lakh km to 41.2 lakh km by March 2026. With the latest commitment, the expanded capacity is now expected to be fully operational by September 2026.
Havells stated that the added capital expenditure will support growing market demand and drive efficiency gains through backward integration and process enhancements. The investment will be fully funded through internal accruals.
