Hi-Tech Pipes: ₹100 Cr Invested in Strategic South India Expansion.

Hi-Tech Pipes has laid the foundation for its new greenfield manufacturing facility in Hindupur, Andhra Pradesh, located near Bengaluru.

The project will expand the company’s capacity to produce value-added coated steel products. Backed by an investment of ₹100 crore through internal accruals, the plant will have an annual production capacity of 1,50,000 tonnes and will cater to customers across Southern and Western India. The facility is expected to improve logistics efficiency and enhance delivery timelines, with completion targeted for Q2 FY28.

This development forms part of Hi-Tech Pipes’ larger plan to scale its total capacity to 2 million tonnes per annum through a mix of brownfield and greenfield expansions. The company currently operates at an installed capacity of 0.75 MTPA with a utilisation rate of 66 percent.
