Indian Potash planning a new Distillery project in Utttar Pradesh

The Molasses-based Distillery and Co-Generation Power Plant Project that is being planned by Indian Potash Limited (IPL) in the Muzaffarnagar District of Uttar Pradesh is a significant development that intends to manufacture biofuel, generate renewable energy, and strengthen the local economy. 

Production Capacity of AA/ENA/Ethanol is 65.3 KLD (kilo litres per day).

Cogeneration Power Plant with a Capacity of 2 MW.

113 crores were spent on the project.

The total land area of the project is 6,988 hectares (17.267 acres).

The project is currently in the stage of being approved. Currently awaiting approval from the government. There is currently no other information that has been decided.
