Jaquar's Bhiwadi Expansion: World's Largest Faucet Plant & Lighting Boost

Jaquar Group has significantly expanded its manufacturing plant in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, making it the world's largest single-unit faucet production facility, with a daily capacity of 125,000 faucets. This expansion supports India's 'Make in India' initiative and represents an investment of Rs 300 crore, with Rs 150 crore allocated for faucet manufacturing and an additional Rs 150 crore for a new lighting plant. The expansion also creates numerous job opportunities, boosting the local workforce.

With six factories—five in India and one in South Korea—spanning 329,000 sq. mtrs., Jaquar utilizes advanced automation, robotic grinding, and sustainable practices. The company's zero-waste approach includes recycling 500,000 liters of water and 4,221 tons of brass annually. The Bhiwadi plant, a leader in sustainability, has been awarded LEED Platinum certification by the US Green Building Council.
