Keltech Energies Plans to expand New Explosive in Maharashtra

It has been proposed by Keltech Energies Limited (KEL), an industry leader in the production of industrial explosives, to expand the explosives manufacturing facility that is already located in Garamsur Village in the city of Nagpur in the state of Maharashtra.

The total cost of the project was 50.60 Crore.

Capacity of the Project:

Slurry/Emulsion Explosives: Increase production capacity by a factor of two, reaching 22,500 MT/Annum

Accessories for Explosives: Raise to 500 MT/Annum in Quantity

PETN (200 MT/Annum), MMAN (200 MT/Annum), Lead Azide (100 MT/Annum), and Lead Styphnate (100 MT/Annum) Are Some of the New Explosive Products That Have Been Released.

Storage of Raw Materials: 500 MT of Mono Methyl Amine, 500 MT of TNT, 5000 MT of Ammonium Nitrate, and 500 MT of LPG/CNG

As on November 2023 : The project is now in the stage of receiving approvals The project has received all necessary clearances by the end of the year 2023, development on the project will have begun.
