MIDC's New Plug-and-Play Facility to Boost Nashik MSMEs

The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) has announced plans to establish its first plug-and-play facility exclusively for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) at the Talegaon-Akrale industrial estate in Dindori taluka, Nashik district.

Spread across 10 acres, the facility will offer ready-to-use industrial infrastructure—including pre-constructed sheds, reliable power supply, and other essential services—designed to simplify the setup process for MSMEs and accelerate their operational readiness. The initiative addresses growing industry demands for tailored support to small businesses.

The decision follows a recent meeting in Nashik chaired by State Industries Minister Uday Samant, where representatives from the Nashik Industries and Manufacturers' Association (Nima), Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (MCCIA), and Ambad Industries and Manufacturers' Association (Aima) advocated for such a facility. In response, the Minister directed MIDC to allocate land and commence development.

Nima President Ashish Nahar welcomed the announcement, noting that the initiative would provide a significant boost to MSME development in the region.
