Navraj Metal Works plans to set up Non Ferrous Metal Project in Uttar Pradesh

Navraj Metal Works plans a non-ferrous metal plant at Andla, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.The 20-crore project will employ 500 people directly. Copper, aluminium, and brass are among the non-ferrous metals the company will produce. The project should finish in 2024. The Uttar Pradesh government promotes metal parks. 

The state government chose Andla for the park because of its proximity to National Highway 2 and Aligarh railway station. Metal businesses are likely to invest in the park, boosting metal manufacturing in Uttar Pradesh. The government plans to make India a self-sufficient metal manufacturing centre by building metal parks. 

The government has also encouraged metal businesses to build factories in India. These initiatives should enhance India's metal production and reduce its imports. As of September 2023, The project is now in the stage of construction being started the work on the project will be finished in 2024, 2025 or 2026 It has been decided to hire a local contractor.
