The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has issued a request for proposals for the development, operation, and maintenance of a ropeway project in Jammu & Kashmir.
The ropeway will run for 1.050 kilometres from SDA Parking (near Zeberwan Park) to Shankaracharya Temple. The repair will be completed at a cost of Rs 102.24 crore.
A period of 24 months has been set aside for development, which will be carried out using the hybrid annuity mode (HAM).
The deadline for proposal submissions is December 7, 2023.
