NTPC Seeks Bids for Mammoth Battery Storage System (250MW/500MWh)

NTPC has invited bids for the development of 250 MW/500 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at its thermal power stations in Gadarwara and Solapur. The deadline for bid submissions is July 18, 2024, with the same day set for bid openings.

Indian and foreign bidders are required to pay for bidding documents and provide bid security. Eligible bidders must have relevant experience in manufacturing and integrating grid-connected BESS projects. Additionally, bidders must meet financial and technical collaboration criteria, including a substantial annual turnover and prior project execution in related industries.
