Padget Electronics Opens New Smartphone Plant in Uttar Pradesh

Padget Electronics, a fully-owned subsidiary of Dixon Technologies, proudly unveiled its state-of-the-art smartphone manufacturing facility in Noida on November 23, 2023, with the esteemed presence of Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw.

This cutting-edge facility, backed by a significant investment of Rs 256 crore, spans an expansive 2.7 lakh sq. ft., boasting an impressive annual production capacity of 25 million units. In addition to its technological prowess, the facility is set to create approximately 5,000 employment opportunities, aligning with Padget Electronics' commitment to fortifying the local smartphone manufacturing landscape in India.

Dixon Technologies will serve as the manufacturing hub for Xiaomi smartphones at this Noida facility, fostering a synergistic collaboration that harnesses Dixon's proficiency and Xiaomi's seasoned expertise within the dynamic Indian business ecosystem. This strategic partnership exemplifies Padget Electronics' dedication to advancing India's position as a key player in the global smartphone manufacturing sector.
