Penna Cement Grinds Its Way to Growth in Telangana

Penna Cement Industries Limited (PCIL) is embarking on the Cement Grinding Unit Project located at Ganeshpahad, in the Damaracherla Taluka of Nalgonda District, Telangana. This venture comes with an estimated project cost of INR 17 crores and is anticipated to be completed within a year. The unit's production capacity is set at 0.528 Million Tons Per Annum (MTPA), aimed at meeting the burgeoning demand for cement in the area.

This initiative by PCIL holds significant promise for the local community and economy. Primarily, it is poised to generate employment opportunities in the region, contributing to livelihoods and skill development. Furthermore, the establishment of this grinding unit is expected to bolster the local economy by fostering ancillary businesses and trade networks, creating a ripple effect of economic growth and development.

Moreover, in addressing the escalating demand for cement, this project will play a pivotal role in meeting the construction and infrastructure needs of the region. By ensuring a consistent supply of cement, it will support various development projects, contributing to the overall growth and progress of the area.

As on December 2023, The project is now in the stage of receiving approvals. The project has received all necessary clearances. By the end of the year 2023, development on the project will have begun.
