Precision Tools: Silmax Opens ₹100 Cr. Capacity Bengaluru Unit

Silmax, a leading precision cutting tools manufacturer, has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Devanahalli, Bengaluru, supporting its expansion strategy and strengthening its footprint in India.

The 10,000 sq. ft. facility, with 5,000 sq. ft. currently operational, is expected to produce 4,000–5,000 cutting tools per month, targeting annual revenue of ₹100 crore. The plant will improve delivery times for customers across India and the Asia-Pacific region, enhancing the availability of milling and drilling tools. Silmax CEO Dr. Dario Maria Fumagalli emphasized the facility’s role in shortening response cycles and enabling faster product customisation.

Additionally, CEO Francis Kumar announced a training program starting in 2026 to develop young engineers into skilled toolmakers, reflecting the company’s long-term commitment to India’s manufacturing sector, particularly in aerospace and advanced manufacturing.
