As part of Uttar Pradesh’s ongoing industrial expansion efforts, the Sandila Industrial Area in Hardoi is set to receive a major infrastructure upgrade worth ₹105 crore.
Announcing the initiative, UPSIDA CEO Mayur Maheshwari said the investment will go toward the construction and upgradation of roads, drainage systems, culverts, and industrial entry gates, with the aim of enhancing operational efficiency and creating a world-class business ecosystem. “This ₹105 crore civil infrastructure upgrade is designed to boost the ease of doing business and transform Sandila into a globally competitive industrial zone,” he stated.
The plan also includes worker- and visitor-friendly amenities such as a Shramik Sewa Kendra to provide essential services, dedicated vending zones, truck lay-bye areas for safer logistics, and a cafeteria offering affordable meals. Additionally, the project will feature public toilets for hygiene and dormitories to house workers and staff involved in ongoing construction and industrial activities—ensuring both welfare and efficiency.
