Seshasayee Paper and Boards Plan to Expand Paper and Pulp in Tamil Nadu

Seshasayee Paper and Boards Limited is planning to expand its paper and pulp production at Alampalayam Village, Pallipalayam, R.S.P.O Cauvery, Taluk Tiruchengodu, District Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. The project is estimated to cost 100 crore and will increase the plant's capacity to 45,000 tonnes per annum (TPA).

The project will involve the installation of a new state-of-the-art paper machine, as well as the expansion of the existing pulp mill. The new paper machine will have a capacity of 30,000 TPA and will produce a wide range of paper grades, including printing and writing paper, tissue paper, and specialty paper.

The expansion of the pulp mill will increase its capacity to 15,000 TPA. The pulp mill will produce pulp from a variety of sources, including wood, recycled paper, and agricultural residues.
