Singhal Forestry Private Limited planning to set up Ferro Alloys Project at Chhattisgarh

Singhal Forestry Private Limited intends to establish a new ferro alloys facility in Siltara, Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. The project will produce 50,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) of ferro manganese and 3,160 tonnes per annum (TPA) of ferro silicon. The endeavour is estimated to cost 30 Crores. 

The Ministry of Environment, Forestry, and Climate Change has granted the project environmental clearance. Already 20 hectares of land have been acquired for the endeavour. Construction is anticipated to commence in 2024 and conclude in 2025. The project will directly employ approximately 200 people and indirectly employ approximately 500 people. 

The initiative is anticipated to stimulate regional economic growth and contribute to the nation's rising demand for ferroalloys. As of September 2023, The project is currently in the stage of being approved currently awaiting approval from the government.
