SLM Metal Gears Up for Metal Powders: Odisha Set for Steel Boom

SLM Metal Private Limited has announced the launch of a new project aimed at significantly increasing the production of iron and stainless steel powder in Lathikata, Sambalpur, Odisha. This ambitious venture promises to enhance the industrial landscape of the region and meet the rising demand for high-quality metal powders.

The new facility will focus on producing iron powder with an impressive capacity of 5000 TPA (tons per annum). This substantial output is expected to cater to various industries, including automotive, construction, and manufacturing, ensuring a steady supply of essential materials.

In addition to iron powder, SLM Metal Private Limited will also produce 250 TPA of stainless steel powder. This specialized powder is crucial for high-precision applications, particularly in sectors such as aerospace, medical devices, and electronics, where material integrity and performance are paramount.
