UltraTech Gears Up for Growth with 1.4 MTPA Capacity Addition.

UltraTech Cement has successfully commissioned an additional 1.4 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of cement production capacity as part of its ongoing debottlenecking and efficiency enhancement initiatives. This expansion is a key component of the company’s broader strategy to strengthen operational performance and meet growing market demand.

The increased capacity comes from strategic upgrades at three grinding units: 0.6 MTPA in Nagpur (Maharashtra), 0.4 MTPA in Panipat (Haryana), and 0.4 MTPA in Jhajjar (Haryana). All units have completed stabilisation and are now fully operational.

With this addition, UltraTech’s total domestic grey cement manufacturing capacity has reached 184.76 MTPA. These upgrades are aligned with the company’s long-term growth strategy and its focus on serving the expanding needs of India’s infrastructure and housing sectors.

Amid strong demand projections, the timely capacity augmentation positions UltraTech to support future growth while maintaining its competitive edge.
