UTM Energy Private Limited has launched a Compressed Bio Gas (Bio CNG) project in Savayajpur, Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. With an investment of 19 crores, the project aims to produce 2.4 tonnes per day of Bio CNG. This initiative is part of the company's commitment to leveraging renewable resources for cleaner energy production.
The Bio CNG unit at Savayajpur is poised to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by utilizing organic waste as feedstock. This includes agricultural residue, cattle dung, and municipal solid waste, which will be processed to generate clean fuel. The implementation of such technology underscores India's efforts to achieve its renewable energy goals and reduce dependency on fossil fuels.
The project is expected to not only generate renewable energy but also create employment opportunities in the local community. It represents a sustainable solution to waste management and energy production, aligning with the country's vision for a greener future. UTM Energy Private Limited aims to replicate this model in other regions, promoting sustainable development through innovative bioenergy solutions.
