Ecoplus Cement Chunar Private Limited is set to establish a new clinker grinding unit project in Lakhanpur, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. With a production capacity of 4 million tonnes per annum (MTPA), this project represents a significant addition to the region's cement manufacturing infrastructure.
The project, with an estimated cost of ₹422 crores, includes the installation of a 4 MW DG set to ensure uninterrupted power supply for the grinding unit. By integrating this power generation capacity, Ecoplus Cement aims to ensure operational efficiency and sustainability in its production processes.
This initiative is expected to boost cement production in Uttar Pradesh, meeting the rising demand for construction materials in the state and neighboring regions. By focusing on clinker grinding, the project contributes to reducing India's dependence on imported clinker, fostering self-sufficiency in cement production.
In addition to expanding cement manufacturing capacity, the project will create employment opportunities for the local community. It is estimated to generate both direct and indirect employment for the region, thus contributing to economic growth and social development.
Furthermore, the establishment of the clinker grinding unit will have a positive impact on the local economy by stimulating ancillary industries, enhancing infrastructure, and attracting further investment to the Lakhanpur area. This project aligns with the government's vision of promoting industrial growth and creating a self-reliant economy.
