Zaffron Enterprises planning to set up Cement Unit Project in Jammu & Kashmir

Zaffron Enterprises Private Limited intends to build a new cement plant in Khonmoh, Jammu and Kashmir. The project entails the construction of a cement production facility with a capacity of 200 tpd (66000 tpa) at a cost of 35 crores. The project is still in the planning stages as of May 2018.

 The factory is projected to generate 100 new jobs and benefit the local economy. The project is still in the planning stages and awaits regulatory approval. Zaffron Enterprises, on the other hand, is optimistic that the project will be finished on time and under budget. As of September 2023, The project is currently in the stage of being approved currently awaiting approval from the government.
