Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved financial and administrative sanctions worth ₹1,344 crore for multiple development projects and welfare schemes across Uttarakhand.
The approved funding will support key sectors such as power infrastructure, drinking water supply, irrigation, tourism, housing, and district-level development plans for the 2026–27 financial year. Major infrastructure allocations include support for tube well projects in Nainital, new power substations in Bageshwar, and large-scale underground cable works in Dehradun.
The state government has allocated ₹1,018 crore to District Magistrates for the implementation of local district plans, along with a ₹100 crore provision for domestic electricity tariff subsidies. The power sector has also received substantial support, including a ₹150 crore installment for Asian Development Bank-funded projects undertaken by Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited (PTCUL) and ₹45 crore for initiatives supported by Power Finance Corporation.
To strengthen tourism and regional infrastructure, Pushkar Singh Dhami also approved the release of ₹55 crore for the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Council. Planned tourism projects include the construction of specialised igloo huts along the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra route in Pithoragarh and a new parking facility in Tehri Garhwal.
Additionally, the state sanctioned ₹2.84 crore as its contribution towards the Lakhwar Multipurpose Project under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana.
