Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on 18 January 2026 inaugurated development projects worth approximately ₹100 crore in the RK Puram Assembly constituency.
The initiatives focus on strengthening local infrastructure and include road repairs, renovation of community centres, installation of open gyms, and beautification of parks. Addressing residents, the Chief Minister assured that, for the first time, the Delhi government would provide adequate funding to ensure timely completion of such projects.
Emphasising the government’s commitment to inclusive development, CM Gupta said the administration is working to provide essential amenities such as housing, toilets, bathing facilities, roads, drains, and well-maintained parks. She also highlighted a ₹700 crore allocation aimed at ensuring ₹10 crore worth of development work in each assembly constituency, with the goal of delivering modern facilities to both underprivileged and affluent communities alike.
