Marur Canal Makeover: CNNL Invites Bids for ₹73.53 Cr Upgrade

Cauvery Neeravari Nigam Ltd (CNNL) has invited bids for the modernisation of the Marur Branch Canal and its distributaries under the Haryali Rural & Block Canal (HRBC) scheme.

Valued at ₹73.53 crore, the project aims to upgrade irrigation infrastructure and enhance agricultural productivity in the region. The scope of work includes clearing and grubbing, demolition of existing concrete structures, earthwork excavation, construction of substructures, supply of RCC spun and vibrated cast pipes, and provision of casing embankments using semi-pervious materials to improve canal performance and water distribution efficiency.

The bid submission deadline is 6 November 2025.
