Municipal Council, Datia (MCD) opened financial bids on 30 May 2025 for the implementation of a sewerage project under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme in Datia town, Madhya Pradesh.
New India and Sons, a local Datia-based firm, emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder with a quoted amount of Rs 64.07 crore. Shristi Infraengineering and P C Snehal Construction were ranked L2 and L3, respectively.
The project scope includes conducting surveys and investigations, preparing detailed designs and construction drawings, and executing the construction and commissioning of a comprehensive wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal system. Additionally, the contract covers the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the sewerage infrastructure for 10 years following successful commissioning. The first five years of this period will also serve as the defect liability period (DLP).
