Yashoda Medicity: A New Era of Health Begins in Ghaziabad

The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, inaugurated Yashoda Medicity at Indirapuram, Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) on October 26, 2025.

In her address, the President emphasized that the continuous expansion of medical infrastructure, institutions, and healthcare services is essential for building a healthy and developed India. She urged all stakeholders, including private healthcare providers, to ensure accessible and quality medical services for all citizens.

The newly inaugurated 1,200-bed Yashoda Medicity, offering more than 65 medical specialties, has been designed as a next-generation, eco-friendly, and fully digital hospital. The facility features world-class infrastructure, including 22+ modular operating theatres, 10 advanced endoscopy suites, and over 252 modular ICUs.

Commending Yashoda Hospital’s contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic and its active role in the National TB Elimination Program, the President encouraged the institution to continue supporting national health missions such as the eradication of sickle cell anaemia. She also highlighted the importance of advancing research and collaboration in cancer treatment, reinforcing Yashoda Medicity’s mission to deliver affordable, world-class healthcare and strengthen India’s position as a global medical hub.
