IREDA Sets Ambitious ₹8,200 Crore Revenue Target for FY26

The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) has signed a performance-based Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), establishing strategic and financial targets for the fiscal year 2026.

As part of the agreement, IREDA is tasked with achieving a revenue from operations target of ₹8,200 crore, building on its strong performance in FY25. In the previous fiscal year, the state-owned enterprise exceeded expectations by recording ₹6,743.32 crore in revenue—well above its ₹5,957 crore target.

The MoU also outlines key performance indicators to assess IREDA’s financial and operational health, including Return on Net Worth, Return on Capital Employed, NPA to Total Loans ratio, Asset Turnover Ratio, and EBITDA.

These benchmarks reflect IREDA’s growing role in financing and promoting renewable energy initiatives, aligning with India's broader goals for a sustainable and green energy future.
