Bihar's Rail Revolution: Bids Open for Key Bridge Projects

The East Central Railway has invited bids for the construction of road over bridges (ROBs) to replace existing level crossings in Bihar, aimed at improving safety, reducing traffic delays, and enhancing regional connectivity.

Project Scope:

Location 1: Replacement of Level Crossing No. 33A at km 186/32-34 between Adapur and Raxaul (Sitamarhi–Raxaul section)

Location 2: Replacement of Level Crossing No. 34A at km 187/38A-40A between Raxaul and Bhelwa (Narkatiaganj–Raxaul section)

Division: Samastipur Division, Completion Timeline: 24 months from the date of award

These ROBs will enhance rail and road safety while supporting smoother and more efficient transportation in the region.

Bid Submission Deadline: 09 October 2025

Qualified contractors with experience in civil infrastructure and bridge construction are invited to participate in the bidding process.
