₹180 Crore Underpass Projects Attract 15 Bids in Noida

The Noida Authority has announced that 15 companies have submitted proposals to build two critical underpasses along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, near Sultanpur and Jhatta villages. A final contractor will be selected within two months by the Authority’s civil engineering department.

The first underpass, to be constructed near Jaypee Wishtown in Sector 128, will improve connectivity for Sultanpur and sectors 128, 129, 105, and 108. It is expected to benefit over 1 lakh residents and improve access to nearby IT parks, educational institutions, and hospitals. The 700-meter structure is estimated to cost ₹80 crore and is scheduled for completion within 18 months of the contract award.

The second underpass, also 700 meters long, will be built near Jhatta village. It will enhance traffic flow between sectors 145, 146, 155, 159, and Greater Noida, and support connectivity to major tech campuses, including Tata Consultancy Services. This project is estimated at ₹100 crore, with the same 18-month timeline.

Both underpasses will use diaphragm wall construction technology, and temporary traffic diversions will be in place during the build phase, according to Chief Engineer Vijay Rawal.
