The Chhattisgarh Tourism Board invites bids for the development of a Film City at Mana-Tuta, Sector 23, Nava Raipur, under a Design, Build, Finance, Operate, and Transfer (DBFOT) model.
The project spans 93.64 acres and is valued at approximately Rs 337.48 crore. It is envisioned as a landmark destination for film production, tourism, and recreational activities in the region. The total development period is five years from the date of agreement signing, with construction to be undertaken in phases by the selected concessionaire.
Phase-I will focus on establishing facilities approved by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, supported by a capital grant of Rs 133.95 crore. Upon completion of the development and declaration of the Commercial Operations Date (COD), the project will enter its Operation and Maintenance (O&M) phase.
This initiative aims to bolster the regional economy, promote cultural industries, and position Nava Raipur as a hub for creative and tourism-driven investments.
