ECR Launches ₹176 Cr Rail Bridge Bid for Waltair Division

East Coast Railway (ECR) has invited bids for the construction of major bridges as part of the third line development between Naupada, Dusi, and Vizianagaram stations in the Waltair Division of Andhra Pradesh.

Under Package-1, the scope includes the construction of key bridges along with the formation of 100-meter approaches on either side, supported by necessary protection works. Valued at ₹176.03 crore, the project is aimed at enhancing rail connectivity and increasing capacity on the ECR network. The work is to be completed within 24 months.

This infrastructure upgrade is vital to accommodate rising rail traffic and improve operational efficiency in the region.

The deadline for bid submission is 11 November 2025.
