Amber Enterprises India Ltd has expanded its footprint in advanced electronics manufacturing through the formation of a new joint venture focused on serving the medical, defence, and aerospace sectors. The initiative marks the group's strategic entry into high-value and technology-intensive industries with strong long-term growth potential.
According to a regulatory filing, Amber's material subsidiary, IL JIN Electronics (India) Private Limited, has partnered with Mumbai-based Singularity Des Electronics Private Limited to establish a new company, ILJIN Technologies Private Ltd. The joint venture was incorporated on June 4, 2026, and will function as a dedicated platform for the design and manufacture of specialised electronic products for critical sectors including healthcare, defence, and aerospace.
Under the shareholding arrangement, IL JIN Electronics will hold a 60 per cent stake in the venture through an investment of ₹60 lakh, while Singularity Des Electronics will own the remaining 40 per cent stake with an investment of ₹40 lakh. The combined initial investment reflects the partners' commitment to building a strong manufacturing and technology base for specialised electronic systems.
The new venture is expected to leverage the complementary strengths of both companies, combining manufacturing capabilities with domain expertise to address growing demand for advanced electronic solutions in strategically important industries.
With this development, Amber Enterprises is diversifying beyond its traditional manufacturing segments and strengthening its presence in emerging, high-growth markets. The move aligns with the broader trend of increasing domestic production of sophisticated electronics and supports India's efforts to enhance self-reliance in critical technology sectors.
